I Bought Art! ;)

I was so happy when this print came in the mail this week! It is so pretty... Its actually a print on a greeting card, and I framed it. We've lived in this house for two years now, and have yet to hang anything on the walls. How sad is that :( I hope to find more artwork (that is not my own!) to hang up around here... The place needs some color!

My Favorite Time...

... is right now :)
I go through these periods of zero ideas and inspiration, and then suddenly I'm flooded! It really is one of my favorite times... now, all I actually need is time to work on it all ;)

Something Old Is Something New...

I am always trying to think of new things to work on... I love it when friends and family come at me with ideas, because it always sparks something new for me. Some of you may recognize my new projects... Sort of my signature little people that I started drawing as far back as I can remember. I forgot how fun it was to bring them to life!

I hope you like them too... they will be making an appearance soon...

New Year, New Ideas

Sometimes I feel like I'm out of ideas... and then it will hit me. I'll go on a "creating spree" and whip out five new cards all at once! I love when that happens :D

I have been thinking recently about my website, and my online shop at ETSY. Etsy is a fantastic way for craft sellers to join the world of technology and share their items with the world. It is not without flaws, however, and one thing I would love to see is a way to be notified when my favorite sellers add new items to their shops. As it stands now, I just go to each of the shops and search through them constantly!

I am looking into the possiblities of opening a second shop within my own website, and also generating a mailing list for the purposes of notifying customers when I list new items, or if I am having a sale.

Anyway, take a second to answer my poll... and I would love to hear your thoughts on all of this ;)

Move Over Winter...

Time to put away the Christmas trees, and look forward to Spring! I'm thinking about Valentines and Springtime happiness in my work now. I've had enough of snowmen until next year ;)
